Expert Witness and Consulting Services

Dr. Michael Fischman has provided medical/legal consulting and expert witness services in occupational and environmental toxicology and medicine since 1990. He has been involved in a number of large complex cases with multiple plaintiffs and defendants, as well as cases with a single plaintiff and defendant. He has experience, over more than thirty years, in testifying in cases in Superior Courts and Federal District Courts in California with, of course, more extensive experience in providing deposition testimony. In addition to work in Northern and Southern California, he has served as an expert/consultant in cases in Hawaii, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and Ireland. For his expert witness work, he draws on his training and over 40 years of experience in general occupational and environmental toxicology, derived from clinical and traditional consulting work in a variety of industries and settings, in addition to experience gained from work on toxic tort cases involving a variety of chemicals. Chemicals and other topic areas involved in his cases have included carbon monoxide, benzene,  mold, cancer causation, occupational/environmental lung diseases, metals toxicity, indoor air quality/building associated illness, epidemiology, and inhalation toxicity
